That people who created Jak and Daxter, Ratchet & Clank and the first adventures of Slah Cooper, released on the current generation? Uncharted, Resistance and Infamous. Sly Cooper – hereditary thief, as a child of orphaned. In adulthood, he put a whole gang and with her help got soared with all the villains involved in the death of his parents. It consists in difficult romantic relationships with the inspector of Carmelite Fox, which breaks between duty and sympathy for the raccoon.
Murray – Hefty pink hippo, faithful friend Slaya. We met in the shelter where the raccoon hit after the death of relatives. Later he became a full -fledged participant in the gang. He cannot boast of thieves' abilities, but he is able to scatter an entire army of enemies with his bare hands.
Bentley – Turtle with increased IQ. I also got acquainted with the slam in the shelter. The gang brain, is engaged in planning and technical equipment, constructs cunning gadgets in his laboratory. In the second part, during a particularly dangerous operation, he lost the opportunity to walk, but was not at a loss and designed his jet chair.
The game has always been a classic three-dimensional platformer, but with an emphasis on the stealth component. In addition to a wide variety of gameplayed chips and three playable characters, the series could boast of an interesting plot, uncomplicated, but good jokes and colorful Cel-science-form. Together all this made a series of cult. If you want to get acquainted with the initial trilogy, it is not necessary to run to the store for PS2 – all three games can be bought as part of the collection The Sly Collection for PS3.

History is extremely simple and even naive. Even the child will understand jokes, and “unexpected” turns, as a rule, are guessed long before the climax. Nevertheless, it harmoniously combines with gameplay. There are enough curtains towards fans, there will be references to the previous parts, and meetings with old acquaintances, but all in moderation, so that newly arrived players also feel at home.
The road of change
Following fashion, the new Sly Cooper contains the elements of the "sandbox". In each temporary era, we have one large location: a town, a village or a fortress, where, in search of enemies and treasures, you can roam completely freely and at any time back and forth. Some missions are also held on it, mostly secondary, in which we are preparing for the next big business: we collect intelligence with the help of a radio -controlled machine, take photos of opponents and generally portray with all ourarly.

In the adventures of the Sly, the portable can only be used to search for treasures. Raccoon
The study of cities, however, was performed according to all the canons of platformers: running, jumping and a couple of shocks in the arsenal. But a couple of original features for us still stored. From the previous parts, the proprietary system of Parkuru migrated. At each stage, there are many objects for which a slide can climb, for which, however, the camera must accurately be put on the desired ledge, cornice or beam and in the jump press the action button. In fact, everything goes even more complicated than it sounds, at first it is necessary to constantly miss and land on the heads of enemies. The double approach is on the one hand, there is no intuitiveness and lightness of the parkour in the spirit of UNCHARTED, but on the other, a call appears: especially complex moments require considerable concentration and skill. True, a rebellious camera is sometimes able to ditch the most verified jump.
► Among dozens of improvements and new techniques of the whole couple of really useful.
However, we have to play not only for the sling, and not all characters know how to climb. For example, our longtime friend Murray is almost unable to jump, but he waves his fists no worse than Hulk, and the Bentley's brain's brain owns distant fighting and can throw opponents with bombs. In addition to the already familiar team, the ancestors of the raccoon will come to the rescue (do not forget, we are traveling in time!), everyone, of course, with their abilities. To take on tasks anyone is not allowed, but in free mode, in search of coins and other bonuses, you can run in anyone's skin.
► We will be able to play for the passion of the raccoon – Carmelite Fox. It is only a pity that its abilities are almost completely repeated by the skills of the Tennessa Cooper, the ancestor Sli from the Wild West.
But the main gameplay feature on which the creators made a bet is dressing. In every era, the screeches will sooner or later get a suit, wearing which he acquires new abilities. For example, in a costume of samurai raccoon, immune to the fire, and in a suit of an oriental wizard can slow down the time. Naturally, many puzzles are tied to the use of skins, and even on already difficult places already passed, you can sometimes get only with the help of a freshly acquired outfit.
Time machine
At first, the project gives fresh emotions, but in fact, if you compare it with the previous parts, it turns out that there are not so many new things. In fact, before us is the same game as eight years ago. Even the types of enemies have not changed: a couple of scouts and a bunch with a lantern (even in the daytime), who (Bugai, not a lantern) will not see you under the very nose. From the era to the era only their appearance changes.
However, the heroes are mostly wielding familiar in the previous parts of the techniques. Original abilities here only among the ancestors of the Slah. But for them it will not be so often to play. Open world, a pair of new characters and several interesting, but small chips are enough to restart a series of a substitute, but the second time (if Sony does not abandon the franchise) such a number is unlikely to pass.

Despite the set of shortcomings, the game turned out to be cute, funny and exciting. The mechanic has not changed, it seems, since 2005, but still manages to work. For a thirty -hour (!) the campaign on the screen is made exclusively rampant fun. In addition, developers constantly dilute the gameplay and try not to have to do the same for hours. True, if you have just re-tried the initial trilogy, the impressions may be somewhat lubricated, because the existing innovations are not enough.
